About Dr. Westermeier, DDS
Dr. Westermeier is a 3rd generation dentist who has practiced in his home town of East Aurora for over 20 years. He is recognized as a leading cosmetic and restorative dentist by both the community and his peers. Dr. Westermeier was educated at Canisius High School, at St. Louis University (where he received his B.A. in Biology) and at the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (where he received his D.D.S.). His post-graduate education has continued at the LD Pankey Institute, Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education, KOIS Center for Dental Excellence, D.O.C.S. , Experdent, The Productive Dentist Academy, and he has thousands of hours of continued education far exceeding NYS requirements. Dr. Westermeier’s memberships include ADA, NYS Dental Society, Erie County Dental Society, UB Alumni Association, American Equilibration Society, Academy of General Dentistry, AACD-American Academy Cosmetic Dentistry, ICOI-International Congress of Oral Implantology, DOCS-Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, DOSA-Dental Organization of Sleep Apnea, WNY Dental Implant Study Club, Metropolitan Study Club and the BBB-Better Business Bureau.
His recognitions include GBAS-Give Back A Smile, Class President 2 Years – UB Dental School, ECDS-Leadership Award, Mayor’s Beautification Award, Congressional Recognition by Congressman Brian Higgins and an East Aurora Chamber of Commerce Citation. Dr. Westermeier has been asked to share his dental expertise and lecture on behalf of many national and international dental companies such as Ivoclar, Patterson/Cerec, Kavo, and Experdent to name a few. These lectures have taken him all over the United States and Canada. Dr. Westermeier married his college sweetheart, Donna, in 1989 after successfully bribing her to move to Buffalo from St. Louis. They were blessed with three children, Christian, 12, Annie 10, and Reid who is 8. They are all competitive swimmers in addition to Tae Kwon Do. Black belts were earned by the entire family. They all enjoy skiing, golfing, swimming, and traveling as a family…still.
About Dr. Jeffrey Martin, DDS
Dr. Martin is committed to providing his patients with the finest dental procedures and care available. He has a special passion for fearful patients and listens to patient’s concerns. He understands the value of having a smile that is beautiful as well as healthy as he strives to help each patient achieve their ideal smile. With his extensive training and experience, Dr. Martin is able to offer exceptional care and comfort for the most challenging dental problems in advanced cosmetic, reconstructive, implant and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Martin graduated from Thiel College in Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and Biology in 1982. He then received his Doctorate at the University Of Buffalo School Of Dental Medicine in 1986. Dr. Martin has been practicing for over twenty years and has continued to excel in advanced training including the L.D. Pankey Institute, New York University College of Dentistry Implant Continuum, Lumineer Certification, Invisalign Certification, ExperDent, the Productive Dentist Academy, Kois Center for Comprehensive Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Martin has been a longstanding member of several national and local organizations including the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, Erie County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Metropolitan Study Club and the Dental Organization of Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Martin has been a driving force behind “Dentistry with a Heart”, an annual charitable event offering free dental care to the needy of the community. In addition he is a member of the East Aurora Rotary Club, and is an active member of his church. Dr. Martin decided at a young age, in eighth grade, that he had a passion for Dentistry. He loved exploring his local dentist office in the Southern Tier where he grew up. He worked at two internships at The Buffalo Children’s Hospital Dental Clinic and The Warren Dental Hospital before attending Dental School. Dr. Martin met his wife Lynn in his home town of Chautauqua and was married in 1985. They have two children, a daughter Casey who attends college and a son Curtis who attends high school. Dr. Martin lives in Orchard Park and enjoys “The Sabres”, tennis, and spending time with his family.
